Prepared, not blank
Transactions are coded, documents are attached to the transactions they account for, and anything inconsistent is flagged before you start.
The work that remains is judgement, which is the part that actually needs you.
Missing paperwork surfaces early
A transaction with no supporting document is raised when it arrives rather than at close, which is when it is still easy to chase.
Client queries and document requests run from the same place, so chasing does not mean leaving the tool.
Inconsistencies are named
Duplicates, coding errors and amounts out of line with a vendor's normal range are called out specifically rather than left for you to notice.
Each flag is traceable: click through to the value and the document region it was read from.
Nothing posts without you
Preparation is not posting. Every item still crosses the human review gate before it is final.
Approve or reject with a memo, and the decision is appended to the audit trail.
